Delivery Process of Insulated Modular Homes to Europe, Scandinavia, Iceland, and Greenland
Our company provides full-cycle production and delivery of insulated modular homes not only across the Baltic region but also throughout Europe, Scandinavia, Iceland, and Greenland. With over 15 years of experience, we have developed a safe, efficient, and well-structured logistics system that enables us to transport fully finished factory-built modules to clients in even the most remote regions. Every delivery stage is carefully planned to ensure maximum quality, safety, and timely arrival.
Planning and Preparation
The delivery process begins in the production phase, ensuring that each module is built in sizes and structural specifications suitable for long-distance transport. Every module undergoes visual and technical inspection to guarantee durability throughout both land and sea transportation. Our logistics team prepares the optimal route based on destination, accessibility, terrain, and local regulations.
Land Transport Across Europe
Within Europe, modules are primarily delivered using specialized trailers and platforms. Delivery costs are calculated individually, depending on distance, cargo size, transport type, and potential challenges such as mountainous terrain or narrow access roads. We ensure professional securing of the cargo to guarantee safe delivery to the installation site.
Transport to Scandinavia
Delivery to Sweden, Norway, and Finland is often arranged as a combination of land transport and ferry crossings. Modules are loaded onto sea platforms or trailers and safely shipped to the designated ports before being transported to their final destination. Special attention is given to terrain specifics, winter conditions, and regional road regulations.
Transport to Iceland and Greenland
Delivery to these regions primarily relies on sea transport using shipping containers or open-top platforms. Depending on module dimensions, we use 40ft HC containers or open-top containers. These routes require detailed planning due to seasonal changes, sea ice, and weather conditions. Land transport is organized up to the selected European port, while sea delivery is handled by partnered shipping companies.
Calculation of Delivery Costs
Every project is unique, and therefore delivery prices are always calculated individually. The price depends on:
module dimensions and quantity,
distance from our factory,
terrain complexity and accessibility,
type of transport required (land, sea, or combined),
need for sea containers,
seasonal conditions (especially for Iceland and Greenland).
Safety and Quality Control
All modules are securely packed and fastened according to international cargo standards. We ensure full protection of the module structure, windows, doors, interior finishing, and engineering systems throughout the transportation process. Upon arrival, our team can also support installation supervision if needed.
Fast and Efficient On-site Installation
Since all construction work is completed in the factory, installation at the destination is quick and efficient. Placing the modules typically takes only a few hours, allowing clients to receive a fully finished home in record time.
